Terms of Service

By accessing or using Marginn at app.marginn.co, or by registering for early access via marginn.co, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms form a binding agreement between you (or the business you represent) and Marginn.

Marginn is a web-based job costing and business management tool for manufacturing shops. The service includes quote creation with cost calculation, GST-compliant invoice generation, machine and material management, supplier and customer records, purchase order tracking, production job tracking, and business reporting.

The service is provided as-is during early access. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product develops.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the business you represent to these terms. The service is intended for use by businesses, not individual consumers.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

Access to the application is subject to manual approval following registration. You will be contacted once your account has been reviewed. We reserve the right to decline access without providing a reason.

You may invite team members to your workspace. You are responsible for their use of the service under your account.

You own all business data you create in Marginn - quotes, invoices, customer records, cost data, and everything else. We do not claim any rights over your data.

You grant Marginn a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the Settings page in the application.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Marginn for your internal business operations. This licence does not include the right to resell, sublicence, or redistribute the service or its underlying software.

You agree not to use Marginn to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or Marginn's systems
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract the underlying application code
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the service's operation
• Use the service on behalf of a competitor for the purpose of competitive intelligence

Marginn is currently in early access. Pricing and payment terms are agreed individually with each customer. There are no automatic charges during early access without your prior agreement.

If a paid plan is introduced, you will be given at least 30 days notice before any charges apply. You may cancel at any time before the billing date.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.

We aim to keep Marginn available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, infrastructure updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We will communicate planned downtime in advance where possible.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that cost calculations will be accurate for your specific business situation, or that the service will meet your requirements.

Cost calculations and financial figures produced by Marginn are tools to assist your decision-making. You are responsible for verifying figures before using them to quote customers or make business decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marginn's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Marginn integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, and Resend. Your use of the service is also subject to the terms of these providers where applicable. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party services.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of Marginn shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
